The Municipal Support Centers for people with disabilities have existed in the city of Guayaquil since long before my birth. The work done there over the years has inspired me to support people with disabilities and now that I am in charge, it is a priority for me to make them work perfectly.

The inclusion of people with disabilities has become a public policy for this Municipality, which is why the Department of Social Inclusion was created. In coordination with other municipal directions, it seeks to comply with the rights of people with disabilities and accessibility as a transversal axis in all programs and plans that are executed as a city.
By city ordinance, the Department of Social Inclusion obtained the capacity to oversee, monitor and coordinate with any management, public and/or private company for the execution of inclusive programs.
