The vast advancement in technology supported the spread of the Arabic adapted version of Makaton. This was accomplished by developing applications for several platforms. With the advancement in technology, iPhone and iPads can be used as assistive equipment, and hence lower the cost usually being paid for specially customized assistive technology devices.
