My top 3 facilitators
Accessible communication
Accessible communication is key to achieve a greater inclusion of Persons With Disability, specially in the context of COVID-19 pandemic, since we are connecting through digital platforms more than ever. I always say that accessibility is the right and just thing to do. In fact, it should matter to all of us since we are all going towards disability due to old age. This is a unique opportunity for society, governments and companies to take advantage of technology to build a more inclusive world.
Community organizations
Working along with other organizations has made possible most of my work to visibilize PWD. Through the years we’ve built a network of dozens of experts in disability in which knowledge, experience and perspectives are shared.
Laws, Policies and Institutions
I'm convinced that public policy is needed to achieve profound changes for Persons With Disabilities. Many of the initiatives to promote greater inclusion and accessibility, access to justice and improvements in education, health and connectivity for PWD have been possible as a result of cooperation between civil society and government.
